San Diego-based U.S. Laboratories Inc. acquired Stewart Environmental Inc. of Las Vegas. Terms were not disclosed.
U.S. Labs plans to incorporate Stewart's environmental services work into the daily operations of its other Las Vegas subsidiary, Buena Engineers Inc. Buena provides geotechnical and construction materials inspection and testing.
The combined Las Vegas operation at 3021 S. Valley View Blvd. will employ about 20 people. Including its Las Vegas office, U.S. Labs has eight subsidiaries nationwide.
