Jeffrey N. Abagat
Jeffrey N. Abagat, 19, of Covina, Calif., died Dec. 31 in California. She was born Sept. 25, 1980, in South Lake Tahoe, Calif. A former Las Vegas resident for 10 years until two months ago, he was a customer service representative for Universal Studios.
He is survived by his parents, Elvira and Danilo Abagat, one sister, Ethelinda Abagat, and one brother, Errin Abagat, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Lucila Abagat of Lake Tahoe, Calif., and Rosalina and Elpidio Novero of Manila, Philippines.
Visitation is scheduled 1-6 p.m. Tuesday with a 5:30 p.m. vigil service in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Mass will be celebrated 11:15 p.m. Wednesday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.
Ricardo Davis
Ricardo Davis, 71, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born June 6, 1928, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. A resident for two years, he was a retired bell captain at the Holiday Inn in Washington, D.C.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine D.; one daughter, Vicky Clineman of Las Vegas; two brothers, William Nemcik of Orlando, Fla., and George J. Davis of Carolina Beach, N.C.; two sisters, Sigrid Whitney of Bowie, Md., and Yolanda Wheeler of Hammondsport, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be noon Tuesday in Bunkers Chapel.
The family suggests donations to New Hope Hospice, 1055 E. Tropicana Ave., Suite 590, Las Vegas, NV 89119, or the American Parkinson Association.
Dennis F. Kelly
Dennis F. Kelly, 56, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 15, 1943, in Milwaukee. A resident for 34 years, he was a retired musician.
He is survived by one daughter, Shanon Kelly, and one son, Brian Kelly, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Mildred Wilhelm of West Allis, Wis.; two brothers, Michael Kelly of Oconto, Wis., and Thomas Kelly of Muskego, Wis.; and four grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
LeRoy P. Parde
LeRoy P. Parde, 71, of Henderson died Saturday. He was born Jan. 16, 1928, in Beatrice, Neb. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired owner-operator of an inventory service and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Joan; one daughter, Jill Yancey of Moorpark, Calif.; one son, Scott Parde of Portage, Mich.; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Shirley Ann Washington
Shirley Ann Washington, 56, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born July 30, 1943, in Magnolia, Ark. A resident for 48 years, she was an inspectress.
She is survived by one daughter, Ladonna Washington of Las Vegas; two sons, Nevin Washington of Las Vegas and Dereck Washington of San Jacinto, Calif.; four stepchildren; her parents, Ether and John Jacobs of Las Vegas; two sisters, Raedean Jacobs and Betty Jacobs, both of Las Vegas; five brothers, Billy Ray Jacobs of Peoria, Ill., and Henry Jacobs, Bobby Joe Jacobs, Jerry Jacobs and James Paul Jacobs, all of Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Second Baptist Church, 500 W. Madison Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Sharon C. Wood
Sharon C. Wood, 59, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 23, 1940, in Albuquerque, N.M. A resident for 38 years, she was an insurance agent and a member of the Independent Insurance Agents Association.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan Thomason of Las Vegas and Traci Itule of Cordell, Okla.; two sons, Jerry Wood of Arapaho, Okla., and Ricky Wood of Las Vegas; her parents, Paul and Viama Jacoby, and one brother, Michael Jacoby, all of Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
