Interfaith Millennium Gathering hopes to leave mark

The council wants people to display the logo of last week's Interfaith Millennium Gathering at the Sparks Nugget as a show of support.
"Silence betokens consent," said Rabbi Abraham Keller of Reno's Temple Emanu-El, where an attempted firebombing occurred Nov. 30.
"We must all speak out against the hate. We see a growth in organized hate crime and if we do not act against it, we are part of it.",
A Feb. 15 trial date has been set for five white supremacists in the temple attack. A Molotov cocktail was thrown at a window, but it didn't go through the window and no major property damage was caused.
Keller said hate sites on the Internet refer to the attempted bombing as "unfinished business."
