Anti-brothel activist will pay for stunt

Milo John Reese, who was billed $8,761.06 by Washoe County on Dec. 2 for the search, said he plans to soon pay about $4,000 through funds in his labor union account.
He said he plans to pay the rest later this year.
"I don't believe that's a sacrifice," he said. "If I sent out any kind of message about my cause, then it was worth it."
Reese, 54, of Reno, abandoned his car just east of Reno on Nov. 7 after he broke out a window with a rock and stained the seat with his own blood.
He surfaced 10 days later and admiteed he was trying to bring publicity to his cause.
