DETROIT -- The top casino executive at MGM Grand Inc.'s temporary Detroit casino has resigned, continuing a string of high-level departures at the property.
Jack McGinty, senior vice president of casino operations at MGM Grand Detroit, has left the company after 14 months, the Detroit News reported.
He will be replaced on an interim basis by Jay Dee Clayton, who was general manager of MGM's Australian casino. MGM declined further comment.
The MGM Grand Detroit opened five months ago. Four of the original 12 founding executives at the property have since left the company.
