Letter: WWII vet shares skepticism of pols

It seems as though Congress is trying to wait until all of the old-timers are gone, then they can use the money they may have paid us for another pay raise for the House and the Senate. Perhaps it's time for the World War II vets to ask for a pension as the World War I vets did.
Some of us old-timers are not so monetarily set as others. We sure could use a boost. Let's not forget there is an election coming up. Perhaps it's time we found some new candidates for office since the ones that are in office care only about the money they can earn, steal or finagle from the offices they now hold.
Let all of the American people remember the notch babies and tell the House and the Senate to even the score.
