Robbery suspect may have given false info before death

A federal prosecutor says the sister-in-law of Timothy Blackburn gave false statements that hampered an FBI investigation of two violent bank robberies and Blackburn's escape from jail.
Blackburn is the bank robbery suspect who killed himself, his wife and two young daughters when police closed in on him after he had escaped from the North Las Vegas jail.
Seila Lim, 21, is now on trial in U.S. District Court here, charged with two counts of making a false statement in connection with the investigation of Blackburn.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Daniel Schiess says her trial is about lying to the FBI at a critical time.
