New Orleans zest marks area ball
St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation presents the 43rd annual Mardi Gras Ball, "The Fine Art of Healing," Saturday at the Bellagio hotel-casino. The valley's oldest ball will benefit the development of St. Rose Dominican Hospital's Siena campus and renovations of the Rose de Lima Campus.
Tickets for the event are $250, with sponsorship opportunities ranging from $500 to $7,500. For ticket and other information, call Marty Galloway at 914-2715.
Benefit to be held for bereaved families

The program's goal is to provide a safe atmosphere where families can talk about their grief and learn how to extend support and encouragement to each other after the death of a loved one.
Tickets are $45 each. Call Heather Kantor at 796-3162.
