BALTIMORE -- Rocky Walls continues to show he is the most consistent player in the International Basketball League, but his effort wasn't enough Thursday night for Las Vegas as the Silver Bandits fell 115-109 to the BayRunners in front 2,956 at the Baltimore Arena.
Walls recorded game highs in points with 28 and rebounds with 16. It was his league-best 24th double-double performance.
The Silver Bandits (22-15), who have dropped four of their last five games, played Thursday night with only eight players. Doug Lee is still nursing a hamstring injury, Mark Wade has an upper respiratory infection, Marcus Liberty has a sore back and Isaac Burton is away attending to a family situation.
J.R. Henderson, forced into playing point guard for most of the game, scored 21 points, pulled down nine rebounds and dished out eight assists. Harold Ellis had 19 points off the bench while Jeff Martin and Eric Schraeder nailed four 3-pointers apiece. Schraeder finished with 16 points while Martin had 15.
For the BayRunners (12-22) it was the third win in five games against Las Vegas. The teams will meet again March 5 in Las Vegas.
