Blanche R. Archer

Blanche R. Archer, 80, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Jan. 9, 1920, in Louisiana.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas F. Sr.; one son, Thomas F. Archer Jr. of North Las Vegas; one brother, James Edward Traber of Texas; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Rafael Barahona

Rafael Barahona, 49, of Las Vegas died Feb. 16 in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1951, in El Salvador. A resident for 20 years, he was a furniture salesman.

He is survived by one daughter, Angelina Whelihan of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel, Main.

Dale A. Cazier

Dale A. Cazier, 77, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 15, 1922, in Los Angeles. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired electronics engineer and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Jean Cazier and Kathleen Louise Smith, both of Cleveland; two sons, Dale Peter Cazier and James Edgar Cazier, both of Upper Marlboro, Md.; one sister, Cathryn Mothersill of Boise, Idaho; one brother, Don Louis Cazier of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 2 p.m. services Saturday in the LDS Cholla Street chapel. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Daniel A. Deanin

Daniel A. Deanin, 74, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born April 21, 1925, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 29 years, he was a retired hospital collection agent and a member of the Knights of Pythias.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; two daughters, Barbara Lee Deanin of Las Vegas and Amy Deanin Brust of Santa Rosa, Calif.; one sister, Rita Abbey of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Services will be 3 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Domenico DiMarzio

Domenico DiMarzio, 84, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 4, 1915, in Follansbee, W.Va. A resident for five years, he was a retired mason and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Frances; one daughter, Carolyn Hollingsworth of Las Vegas; one son, Vincent DiMarzio of Sterling, Va.; one sister, Gina DiVenanzo of Follansbee; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

David H. Finley

David H. Finley, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 7, 1925, in Memphis, Tenn. A resident for 22 years, he was an automobile salesman.

He is survived by four sons, David Finley, Steven Mularky and Michael Mularky, all of Minneapolis, and Kevin Finley of Los Angeles; one daughter, Tami Chmelka of Denver; one brother, Randy Finley of Indianapolis; two sisters, Gladys Breese of Memphis, Tenn., and Marge Albert of Vidalia, Mo.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Marion Ann Flanders

Marion Ann Flanders, 78, of Las Vegas, died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 24, 1921, in New Hampshire. A resident for several months, she was a teacher.

She is survived by one daughter, Kirsten Carr, and one grandson, Andrew Carr, both of Las Vegas.

Ethel L. Fleener

Ethel L. Fleener, 76, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 12, 1923, in Oklahoma. A resident for 45 years, she was a waitress and a lifetime member of the Good Sam RV Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Virginia Stefanides of Las Vegas and Patricia Jenkins of Greenfield, Tenn.; two sons, Jerry Gray of Arizona and James Gray of Las Vegas; two sisters, Audrey Miller of New Mexico and Wilma Sedbrook of Kansas; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Sunday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Edward Everett 'Tex' Gilbert

Edward Everett "Tex" Gilbert, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 14, 1925, in Seymour, Texas. A resident for 42 years, he was an employee at the Nevada Test Site, a Navy veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Elks.

He is survived by his wife, Paula; one son, Robert Patrick Gilbert of Las Vegas; two brothers, Lloyd Gilbert of Seymour and Bruce Gilbert of La Jolla, Calif.; and one sister, Ann Elliot of Seymour.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. services Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be private.

Jesse W. Harless

Jesse W. Harless, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born March 2, 1929, in West Virginia. A resident for 14 years, he was a liquor/grocery store owner and a member of the Moose and Elks.

He is survived by one brother, Wayne Harless of Las Vegas.

Mildred Huerta

Mildred Huerta, 88, of Las Vegas, died Wednesday at a local hospital. She was born July 29, 1911, in Egerton, Kan. A resident for 60 years, she had been involved in retail sales.

She is survived by her husband, Henry; one son, Robert Huerta of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Anna Mae James

Anna Mae James, 68, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 30, 1931, in Lamesa, Texas. A resident for 38 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Debbie West of Las Vegas; one son, Eddie James of Cimatilla, Ore.; one brother, Richard Swafford, and one sister, Ida Faye Weaver, both of Carlsbad, N.M.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Dorothy Jean Jones

Dorothy Jean Jones, 79, of La Mesa, Calif., died Saturday in San Diego. She was born Feb. 8, 1921, in Wisconsin. A former Las Vegas resident from 1964 to 1973, she was a homemaker and a former aqua-aerobics instructor at the Las Vegas YMCA.

She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Crockett of La Mesa; two sons, Daniel F. Jones of Descanso, Calif., and David Jones of Burbank, Calif.; two sisters, Ellen Merrick of New Jersey and Betty Craft of New York; and four grandchildren.

Gregory V. Lynch

Gregory V. Lynch, 40, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 6, 1959, in Brunswick, Ga. A resident for 17 years, he was a senior corrections officer for 14 years at the Southern Desert Correctional Center at Indian Springs.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Faye; three daughters, Latoria Lynch and Yanna Lynch, both of Brunswick, Ga., and Princess Lafaye Brown of Las Vegas; two sons, Rashod Lynch of Brunswick and Prentiss Buford of Las Vegas; his father, Rufus Lynch of Chicago; his mother, Catherine Lewis, and one sister, Gail Lynch, both of Brunswick; three brothers, Lonnie Lynch of Brunswick, Willie McCormick of Bay Springs, Miss., and William Bailey of Reno; and one grandchild.

Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Greater New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1100 N. D St. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Clifton Moore Jr.

Clifton Moore Jr., 46, of Las Vegas died Feb. 18 in Las Vegas. He was born June 23, 1953, in Detroit. A resident for six years, he was an electronics repairman at Sandy's Electronic and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity.

He is survived by one brother, Duncan Moore, and three sisters, Donna Shaw, Patricia White and Linda Jefferson, all of Michigan.

Dick Neve

Dick Neve, 86, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born March 24, 1913, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired brick mason and a member of Angeles Mesa Masonic Lodge 625 in Anaheim, Calif.

He is survived by his wife, Ann; one son, Jim Neve of San Jose, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Brenda A. Hurst of Parker, Colo.; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday in the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Naranjibhai R. Patel

Naranjibhai R. Patel, 85, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 28, 1914, in India. A resident for three years, he was self-employed in retail sales.

He is survived by two sons, Arvind Patel and Dinesh Patel; two daughters, Usha and Indu Patel; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-noon Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Dora 'Pat' Reiss

Dora "Pat" Reiss, 78, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 18, 1921, in Chicago. A resident for six years, she was a retired receptionist for a medical collections firm, a member of Women's American Ort and Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by one daughter, Saundra Garner of Las Vegas; one son, Ronald Fischer of Menifee, Calif.; one stepson, Brian Oak of Petaluma, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Fuyuka Takeshima

Fuyuka Takeshima, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born March 4, 1923, in California. A resident for two years, she was a retired retail buyer and a member of the Japanese American Citizens League of Las Vegas.

She is survived by her husband, Masaru; one daughter, Cheryl Valle of Las Vegas; one son, Dennis Takeshima of Hacienda Heights, Calif.; one brother; six sisters; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 3 p.m. services Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
