Letter: Lady Rebels pack it up

Thanks to Ron Kantowski for giving the Lady Rebels publicity in his recent column ("Unpack the Mack," Feb. 22) but I think he misinterpreted our goal of "Pack the Mack." The goal was to break the attendance record, not sell out the Thomas & Mack.

Our internal goal was to get the largest crowd of the season. It was actually our largest crowd in the past three seasons and second-largest in the past eight seasons.

What we're trying to do is build a foundation to increase our fan base as we are going to make this into an annual event.

Hopefully in a year or two, we will be able to break the attendance record, and every game will be "packed" with Lady Rebels fans.
