Building director Bouse honored for business efforts for Henderson

Henderson Building and Safety Director Michael Bouse was honored recently for his contributions to the city's business climate.

"Thanks largely to Mike's efforts, Henderson will soon have a development center, a one-stop clearinghouse where developers can get all the permits necessary for a specific project," Bob Cooper, economic development manager for the city of Henderson, said. "All individual city departments will have team members at the development center."

Cooper said the development center will give companies reason to bring their business to Henderson.

Bouse joined the city in 1998 after serving as building and safety director for National City, Calif. He is certified by the Council of American Building Officials and the International Conference of Building Officials.

Bouse shared his recognition, saying other city officials provided invaluable input.
