COLUMBIA, Md. -- The Rouse Co., owner of the Howard Hughes Corp. in Las Vegas, reported fourth quarter funds from operations of $62.6 million, or 80 cents per share, up from $50.7 million or 66 cents in the year-ago quarter.
Rouse said its Summerlin master planned community in Las Vegas is performing well with 3,233 housing units sold during 1999 --- more than 1,000 units ahead of its nearest competitor and giving it a 15 percent share of the Las Vegas residential market.
