Rose Mary Belgiano

Rose Mary Belgiano, 74, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 1, 1925, in New York. A resident for 18 years, she was a retired waitress.

She is survived by one son, Michael Belgiano of Henderson; two daughters, Linda Belgiano of Utah and Christine Tichenor of California.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Thursday in Gaye Haven Nursing Home, 1813 Betty Lane. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Salvatore F. Bruno

Salvatore F. Bruno, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 30, 1926, in Illinois. A resident for 30 years, he was a World War II Navy anti-aircraft gunner.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; two daughters, Sally Farese of Las Vegas and Nancy Siekierka of La Salle, Ill.; three sons, Frank Bruno of Calexico, Calif., Gary Bruno of Kent, Wash., and Barry Bruno of Las Vegas; one sister, Joan Rundele of La Salle; and 15 grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Woodrow P. Champion

Woodrow P. Champion, 81, of Pahrump died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 13, 1918, in Mountain Creek, Ala. A resident for 21 years, he was an aircraft manufacturing manager at Rockwell International where he was employed for 22 years, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian "Toni"; one daughter, Ellen Champion of California; one son, Brent C. Champion of Anchorage, Alaska; one sister, Elizabeth Murray; two brothers, John Franklin Champion and Vester "Buck" Champion; and two grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the Pahrump Family Mortuary, 2240 E. Calvada Blvd. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

William R. Dawson

William R. Dawson, 73, of Las Vegas died Feb. 13. He was born June 27, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for six years, he was in the food supply business, was retired from the Army and was a World War II and Korean War veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine; two daughters, Sandy Dawson of Port Hueneme, Calif., and Laurie Dawson of Burbank, Calif.; and one son, William A. Dawson of Oakley, Calif.

Burial was Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.

Ingrid R. Eicher

Ingrid R. Eicher, 39, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. A resident for 10 years, she was born Nov. 4, 1960, in Ohio.

She is survived by her companion, David McCarson, and one son, James Eicher, both of Las Vegas.

Santos Garcia

Santos Garcia, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born June 29, 1923, in Mexico. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by six sons, Manuel Aguirre and Jose Aguirre, both of California, Florencio Aguirre, Juan Aguirre and Regino Aguirre, all of Nevada, and Roberto Aguirre of Texas; five daughters, Adela Luna, Rosario Gonzales and Carmine Aguero, both of California, Maria Vasquez of Nevada and Lupe Aguirre of Mexico; four brothers, Jose Garcia and Francisco Garcia, both of Mexico, and Herman Garcia and Juan Garcia, both of Texas; one sister, Jesus Garcia of Texas; 48 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until noon services Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Marvin Earl 'Jim' Gier

Marvin Earl "Jim" Gier, 75, of Pahrump died Sunday in Pahrump. He was born June 8, 1924, in Kelso, Wash. A resident for 15 years, he was a superintendent for Postelwaite Inc., a World War II Army veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10054 and the Moose Lodge, both in Pahrump.

He is survived by his wife, Zella 'Mae'; four sons, Marvin 'Jim' Gier Jr. of Pahrump and Jeffery Gier, Roger Gier and Ronald Gier, all of Las Vegas; three daughters, Evelyn F. Noret of Pahrump, Patricia Beranek of Gilbert, Ariz., and Louise Welch of Spokane, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Moose Lodge 808 in Pahrump. Pahrump Family Mortuary, 2240 E. Calvada Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Richard Alonzo Haynes

Richard Alonzo Haynes, 69, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born March 10, 1930, in Lithonia, Ga. A resident for six years, he was a retired Navy veteran who served 23 years and was a member of the Elks.

He is survived by two sons, Douglas Haynes of Ivoryton, Conn., and Richard D. Haynes of Martinsville, Va.; one daughter, Malinda Haynes of Laughlin; three brothers, Tom Haynes of Decatur, Ga., Ron Haynes of Marietta, Ga., and Jim Haynes of Melbourne, Fla.; and two sisters, Phyllis Heppler of Niceville, Fla., and Joyce Humphries of Conyers, Ga.

William Hutfilz Jr.

William Hutfilz Jr., 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 14, 1928, in Hemlock, Mich. A resident for 51 years, he was a retired government accounting postal service, a Korean War Air Force veteran, a member of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans and a former member of the Clark County Jeep Posse.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine; one daughter, Jean M. Poteete of Las Vegas; two sons, William R. Hutfilz of Las Vegas and Walter R. Hutfilz of North Las Vegas; one sister, Lois Rohde of Hemlock, Mich.; one brother, Marvin Hutfilz of Merrill, Mich.; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday and 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the First Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 301 S. Maryland Parkway. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Albert A. Johnson

Albert A. Johnson, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A Veterans Administration administrator and a veteran, he was born Jan. 9, 1918, in Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Winona; four daughters, Jewel Johnson and Maxine Emmons, both of Buffalo, N.Y., Muriel Johnson and Lorraine Dixon of Pontiac, Mich.; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.

Patrick Eaton McShane

Patrick Eaton McShane, 68, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born March 17, 1931, in Utah. A resident for 39 years, he was a technician for AT&T and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; two sons, Bob McShane and Ron McShane; two daughters, Renee McShane and Pamala Muniz; and one brother, Carl McShane; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Richard Paul Moreillon

Richard Paul Moreillon, 75, of Pahrump died Sunday in Pahrump. He was born April 28, 1924, in Indiana. A resident for three years, he was a painter and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Patty; and one sister, Mary Brown of Cincinnati.

Ada Mae Patrick-Brotherton

Ada Mae Patrick-Brotherton, 58, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 13, 1941, in Dundee, Miss. A resident for 32 years, she was a first aid safety assistant at Silverado High School.

She is survived by her husband, John W. III; one daughter, Melody Carter, and two sons, Michael Tappin and Franklin Patrick, all of Las Vegas; her mother, Rosie B. Webb, and one sister, Maudine Jarrett, both of Michigan; two brothers, Eugene Jarrett of Georgia and Lee Andrew Jarrett of Michigan; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2:30-7 p.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Harry Sharp

Harry Sharp, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Dec. 9, 1924, in London. A resident for 11 years, he was a tool and die maker for 21 years at Deutsch Fasteners and a British Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Kitty; and several brothers and sister, all of England and Florida.

Joyce Elaine Sherman

Joyce Elaine Sherman, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 25, 1928, in Wisconsin. A resident for nine months, she was a county government employee.

She is survived by two daughters, Lynn Poelzer and Leta Meyer, and one brother, Neil Dhein, all of Wisconsin; and five grandchildren.

Lewis Wayne Shuman

Lewis Wayne Shuman, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 16, 1927, in California. A resident for 15 years, he was a financial adviser and a veteran.

He is survived by one brother, George Shuman of California.

Samuel Roy Stoddard, 38, of Henderson died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born March 5, 1961, in Canada. A resident for 30 years, he was a construction worker.

He is survived by his wife, LaTisha Stevens; one daughter, Sabrina Stoddard of Las Vegas; his father, Donald Stoddard of Arizona; his mother, Ellen Stoddard, and two sisters, Karen Stoddard and Susan Stoddard, all of Henderson; and two brothers, Raymond Stoddard of Arizona and Howard Stoddard of Henderson.

Ernest R. Vallee

Ernest R. Vallee, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born June 16, 1926, in Fitchburg, Mass. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired hardware/department store manager, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the American Legion, American Friendship Club and Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline; two daughters, Elaine Thomas of Virginia Beach, Va., and Claudette Cohen of Las Vegas; one son, Norman Vallee of Las Vegas; one brother, Lucien Vallee of Fitchburg; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Andrew Joseph 'Jody' Walker Jr.

Andrew Joseph 'Jody' Walker Jr., 69, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 8, 1930, in Pauls Valley, Okla. A resident for 42 years, he was a musician, a Korean War Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Disabled American Veterans.

He is survived by two daughters, Jolynn Moya of Mustang, Okla., and Cindy White of Tyler, Texas; one son, Dennis Leo Walker of Oklahoma City; his parents, Andrew J. and Ethel Beatrice Walker of Pauls Valley; one brother, William Charles Walker of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Betty Margaret Springer of Pauls Valley and Marilyn Beatrice Walker of Billings, Okla.; and 10 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Barbara J. Washington

Barbara J. Washington, 56, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born March 28, 1943, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 38 years, she was a retired nurse's aide.

She is survived by one brother, Willie Lee Jones of Tallulah; and one sister, Bertha Williams of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 4-6 p.m. Thursday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
