Letter: Internationalism not good for U.S.

James Carville said, and President Clinton echoed, that "Democrats are internationalists and Republicans are isolationists."
What they were saying is that Democrats believe in international government and Republicans don't. But the reality is that for too many politicians, Democrat and Republican, they put Americanism second and internationalism first.
Patriotic Americans' beliefs can vary from isolationism to globalism but internationalism is the opposite of Americanism.
