StumbleLetter: Sports betting ban would be mistake

If the NCAA's proposal should pass into law, I earnestly believe it would spawn (or for a better word -- resurrect) a new breed of Al Capones, the likes of which this country and the world have never experienced.
I would like to remind the NCAA of another stupid mistake in lawmaking in our past history -- remember Prohibition? I always thought that we were educated by the mistakes we made; could I be wrong?
