In celebration of Black History Month, Madame Tussaud's Celebrity Encounter has opened its doors to local students.
The attraction that features lifelike wax figures of celebrities, political figures and athletes is providing a specially created Black History Month educational pamphlet, which contains information of several notable black sports and entertainment figures portrayed at the attraction.
Discount rates are still available for day field trips at $7.50 per student along with free transportation to and from the museum aboard Madame Tussaud's double-decker London-style bus.
Students attending between 5 and 7 p.m. will be admitted free when accompanied by a paid adult.
Madame Tussaud's is located at the Venetian hotel-casino, 3377 Las Vegas Blvd. South and open daily 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
