Metro Police detectives believe a man wanted for outstanding felony warrants including producing pornography with a minor may be in Las Vegas.
James Henry Digiusto, 53, of St. Paul, Minn., was in a Las Vegas courtroom Wednesday to answer the felony warrants but left the court before his case was called, police said. They do not know where he went.
Digiusto is known to frequent areas of northeast Las Vegas, Lt. Tom Monahan of Metro's sexual assault detail said.
The other warrants for Digiusto include failing to register as a sex offender and possession of child pornography, Monahan said.
Digiusto is described as white, 53 years old, 6 feet tall, 195 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He reportedly drives a red Ford Taurus with Minnesota plates 331PXT.
Digiusto registered as a sex offender with Metro but failed to register with the Nevada Division of Parole and Probation.
The state's sex offender notification law requires sex offenders to register with local law enforcement and the state. The state then conducts a review of the offender's records to determine what threat a convicted sex offender may pose to the community and whether neighbors should be alerted.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Digiusto is asked to call Secret Witness at 385-5555 or sexual assault detectives at 229-3421.
