Lady Rebels want to fill Mack

UNLV will hold "Pack the Mack Night" on Saturday when the UNLV women's basketball team meets New Mexico at the Thomas & Mack Center. The game will start at 7:35 p.m.

UNLV is offering fans specially priced $2 tickets in an attempt to break the Lady Rebel attendance record at the Thomas & Mack Center. The Lady Rebel single-game regular season attendance mark is 3,387, which was set on Feb. 2, 1985 vs. Louisiana Tech.

The Lady Rebels did generate a higher attendance once before, but that was for the first round of the 1985 Women's NCAA Tournament at the Thomas & Mack Center when they drew 3,754 fans against San Diego State.

For every ticket sold, UNLV will be donating $1 to the local Ronald McDonald House. For more information call 895-UNLV.
