Interchange finally in place
Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000 | 9:53 a.m.
Like the final piece in a giant puzzle, the last section of the Spaghetti Bowl interchange is to be lifted into place early Friday.
Although the final wedge is being placed, the section of south Interstate 15 leading to south U.S. Highway 95 won't be open until March 24 because of striping and other roadwork.
Work on the $92 million project to improve the complex interchange began in December 1997 and is scheduled for completion in late April.
