Peace Corps is seeking volunteers
Peace Corps will hold informational meeting for potential volunteers 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Clark County Library in the Jewel Box Theatre, 1401 E. Flamingo Road and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at UNLV in the Moyer Student Union Lounge 202.

Minority contractors to hold workshop
The National Association of Minority Contractors Southern Nevada Chapter and the U.S. Department of Transportation Liaison Outreach and Services Program are holding a free "NDOTDBE Certification Workshop" for contractors from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway, Pueblo Room.

Local radio station sponsors blood drive
Kenworth Sales Co. and KWNR 95.5 FM are sponsoring a blood drive in conjunction with United Blood Services 1-5 p.m. Friday at Kenworth Sales Company, 3033 Losee Road. Call Don Tracy at 399-2424 to schedule an appointment. Donors need to be 17 and older, weigh 110 pounds or more.
Family Safety Fair held at Mountain View Hospital
To mark National Child Passenger Safety Week, Progressive Insurance, Mountain View Hospital and Clark County Safe Kids Coalition are sponsoring a Family Safety Fair 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Mountain View Hospital, 3100 N. Tenaya Way. Call 836-3000 for more information.
