Battle over adult bookstore goes on
Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000 | 9:49 a.m.
The Las Vegas City Council says it will continue its legal battle to close down an adult bookstore near a residential area.
City councilman Michael McDonald has waged a three-year battle to close down Hot Stuff but the efforts have been tied up in court.
The council has now approved an ordinance designed to address shortcomings in a previous measure.
An attorney for the store says efforts to shut it down are unconstitutional.
Meanwhile, neighbors are picketing in efforts to take their case to the public.
