Bryan and officials of Reno-Tahoe International Airport were meeting with American Chairman Don Carty and other officers of the airline about plans for the future.
American bought Reno Air last year and Bryan has been working since to assure that the new owner continue the level of service Reno Air offered.
The senator said it is critical to the Truckee Meadows' tourism-based economy to retain and expand the air services of American and other carriers operating out of the Reno airport.
