Charlene JoAnn Bridges
Charlene JoAnn Bridges, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 30, 1936, in LaPorte, Ind. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Jr.; two daughters, Stephanie Nagy of Chatsworth, Ill., and Kelly Brown of Las Vegas; one son, Thomas Bridges Jr. of St. Joseph, Mich.; and four grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is arranging a pending memorial service.
Virginia Broom
Virginia Broom, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 16, 1919, in Carrington, N.D. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired administrative assistant for the federal government.
She is survived by one stepson, Donald Broom of Victorville, Calif.; one brother, Donald Dickerson of Belin, N.M.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Friday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Mary Louise D'Addario
Mary Louise D'Addario, 59, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 25, 1940, in Battle Creek, Mich. A resident for 25 years, she was a casino cashier for 10 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Pam Laas of Las Vegas; three sons, Rodney DeVoe and Ricky DeVoe, both of Las Vegas, and Robert DeVoe of Kentucky; four sisters, Becky Ringold and Debi Sult, both of Las Vegas, Barbara Williams of Oklahoma and Joyce Osburn of Arizona; one brother, Robert Sult of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.
Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Girolamo Peter D'Andrea Jr.
Girolamo Peter D'Andrea Jr., 33, of Henderson died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 4, 1966, in Pennsylvania. A resident for many years, he was a construction worker.
He is survived by one son, Brian D'Andrea, and his father, Girolamo Peter D'Andrea, both of Pennsylvania.

Mary Julia Dobson
Mary Julia Dobson, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 19, 1920, in Tucson, Ariz. A resident for 52 years, she was a retired pantry worker.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Crunk of Henderson and Vera Jaffey of Las Vegas; one son, Ernie Omnas, and one brother, Gilbert Dobson, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Helen of Phoenix; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
James E. Fisher Sr.
James E. Fisher Sr., 74, of Indian Springs died Friday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 25, 1925, in Kanab, Utah. A resident for 49 years, he was a retired heavy equipment operator at the Nevada Test Site, a 32nd degree Mason at Masonic Lodge 48 and a member of the Shriners.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy E.; three sons, Larry D. Fisher of Bishop, Calif., James E. Fisher Jr. of Indian Springs and Matthew M. Fisher of Las Vegas; one daughter, Sari Highfield of Las Vegas; his mother, Mary Fisher of Indian Springs; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in Indian Springs Masonic Lodge 48. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Charles Hale Goodwin, 58, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 16, 1941, in California. A resident for many years, he was a U.S. Postal Service employee.
He is survived by one brother, Arthur B. Goodwin of Huntington Beach, Calif.

Charles Haas
Charles Haas, 89, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 21, 1911, in Austria. A resident for several years, he was a teacher.
He is survived by his companion, Brigitte Tatzel of Las Vegas.

Robert M. Johnson
Robert M. Johnson, 71, of Holden, Utah, died Monday in Holden. A commercial insulator and a veteran, he was born Jan. 11, 1929, in Dudley, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; five sons, Charles Jones, Jimmy Johnson, Rick Johnson and Bob T. Johnson, all of Las Vegas, and Thomas Jones of Cedar City, Utah; two daughters, Valerie Johnson of Clearfield, Utah, and Karen Langley of Kerrville, Texas; three brothers, Jesse Johnson of Pettus, Texas, Foy Johnson of Corpus Christi, Texas, and J.E. Johnson of Robstown, Texas; two sisters, Jewel Luther of Mathis, Texas, and Theresa Dyer of Boerne, Texas; and 16 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
James D. Latham Sr.
James D. Latham Sr., 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 28, 1920, in Elk City, Okla. A resident for two years, he was a retired government law enforcement officer and a World War II and Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; one daughter, Molly Latham of Las Vegas; two sons, James D. Latham Jr. of San Jose, Calif., and Jeffrey W. Latham Sr. of Wilton, Calif.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Terry G. Lund
Terry G. Lund, 48, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 11, 1951, in American Fork, Utah. A resident for 46 years, he was a pipefitter in the construction industry and a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 525.
He is survived by one daughter, Megan Lund, his mother, Virginia Lund, and one sister, Tamara Jones, all of Henderson; and three brothers, Horace Lund Jr. of Bremerton, Wash., and Douglas Lund and Kevin Lund, both of Henderson.
Graveside services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Rita M. McDaniels
Rita M. McDaniels, 65, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 25, 1934, in Cincinnati. A resident for 38 years, she was a retired food service cashier at the Tropicana and Jerry's Nugget hotel-casinos.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel; one daughter, Terina Hahn, and two sons, Daniel McDaniels Jr. and Curtis McDaniels, all of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Nancy Ella Melone
Nancy Ella Melone, 59, of Henderson died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 12, 1940, in Illinois. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Laura Melone, and one son, Richard Melone, both of Chicago.

John Latuselu Moimoi
John Latuselu Moimoi, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born July 10, 1923, in Vavau, Tonga Island. A resident for 17 years, he was an aircraft mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Salote L. Moimoi; three daughters, Alice V. Makasini and Sharon E. Makasini, both of California, and Laura C. Lauese of Las Vegas; three sons, Benjamin S. Moimoi and John L. Moimoi Jr., both of Las Vegas, and Larry P. Moimoi of California; one brother, Vaisini Pamaka of California; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 7-9 p.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday in the LDS Stewart Ranch Ward. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
John P. Motta
John P. Motta, 70, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 24, 1929, in Mill Valley, Calif. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired carpenter, an Army veteran and a volunteer at Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
He is survived by three daughters, Karen Mains and Kandice Russell, both of Aumsville, Ore., and Kathy Jean Chance of Molalla, Ore.; two sons, John Lin Motta of Seward, Alaska, and Michael Motta of San Jose, Calif.; one sister, Arlene Grinder of Lodi, Calif.; one brother, William P. Motta of Buhl, Idaho; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mary Ruth Onderdonk
Mary Ruth Onderdonk, 41, of Forest Grove, Ore., died Jan. 30 in an Oregon hospital. She was born May 14, 1958, in Redondo Beach, Calif. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Gordon; her father, Warren Shallies of Glendale, Calif.; her mother, Nancy Shallies of San Diego; and one brother, Michael Shallies of Naples, Fla.
No local services are scheduled. Forest Grove Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
Elena Perez
Elena Perez, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born June 12, 1913, in Mexico. A resident for 43 years, she was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell for 43 years and a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.
She is survived by one niece, Bertha Self of Las Vegas.
Services and burial will be in Texas. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Robert L. Platt Jr.
Robert L. Platt Jr., 59, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 3, 1941, in Colorado. A resident for 25 years, he was an optometry lab technician.
He is survived by his wife, Antoinette; three sons, Dominic Platt, Raymond Buck and Juan Salas, and six daughters, Patricia Martinez, Faith Buck, Valerie Buck, Sheri Buck, Christine Salas and Trini Buck, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Jane Platt of Florida; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-9 p.m. today with a 6:30 p.m. rosary in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St.
Violet V. Potter
Violet V. Potter, 90, of Henderson died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 12, 1909, in Princeton, W.Va. A resident for 22 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Paul Gargis of Henderson; one daughter, Jeanne Gerding of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Services will be noon Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Leonard A. Pusateri
Leonard A. Pusateri, 76, of Las Vegas died Jan. 26 in Las Vegas. He was born June 22, 1923, in Illinois. A resident for 10 years, he was a truck driver and an Army veteran.
He is survived by one brother, Gus Pusateri of Florida.
Visitation is scheduled 8-8:45 a.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be private. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Lillian M. Regan
Lillian M. Regan, 74, of Boulder City died Monday in Boulder City. She was born May 31, 1925, in Massachusetts. A resident for six years, she was a waitress.
She is survived by one son, Patrick Regan of Las Vegas; one daughter, Pamela States of Boulder City; one brother, Harold Phinney of Virginia; and two sisters, Evelyn Phinney and Marian Nason, both of Massachusetts.

Kenneth E. Ricks, 54, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born May 3, 1945, in Grand Junction, Colo. A resident for 15 years, he was a sales management consultant for a pool construction company.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda J.; one daughter, Lori Sharp, and two sons, Kenneth E. Ricks Jr. and Kerry Ricks, all of Grand Junction; two stepdaughters, Tammy Turner of Taiwan, and Cynthia Reed of Henderson; one stepson, Paul Turner of Las Vegas; his mother, Helen L. Ricks of Claremore, Okla.; three brothers, Gary Ricks of Las Vegas, Larry Ricks of Grove, Okla., and David Ricks of Norman, Okla.; and 11 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Marguerite Thornton, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 23, 1919, in Parowan, Utah. A resident for 62 years, she was a retired retail clerk.
She is survived by one daughter, Geraldine Forbes, and two sons, Darrell E. Thornton and Richard M. Thornton, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Rhoda Kearns of Atwater, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 1 p.m. services Saturday in the LDS Pebble Canyon Ward Chapel. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Robert Joseph Washington, 48, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born July 27, 1951, in Newellton, La. A resident for 34 years, he was a chef.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; two daughters, Rene Moore and Tammy Washington, three stepdaughters, Linda Hankins, Joyce Young and Debra Daniels, two stepsons, Robert Hankins and James Hankins, his mother and stepfather, Arneshia and David L. Smith, and three brothers, Freddie Washington, Wallace Ewell and Terry Ewell, all of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Edward Watts, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 23, 1922, in Augo, Okla. A resident for 11 years, he was a union painter and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Eddy D. Watts of Ridgecrest, Calif., and Edward Watts Jr. of Bastrop, Texas; eight daughters, Joyce A. Market, Jackie L. Rodriguez, Susan E. Brooks and Mary J. Brown, all of Ridgecrest, Cynthia K. Watts of Texas, Sonia Mariana of Glendale, Ariz., Becky Langford of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Priscella Maguire of San Bernardino, Calif.; three sisters, Corky Lerdahl of Aurora, Colo., Carrie Gutierra of Albuquerque, N.M., and Jo Avance of Redlands, Calif.; 34 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 8:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Ernest Williams Sr., 61, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born Jan. 3, 1939, in Oakwood Bough, Ark. A resident for 36 years, he was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Mary L.; three daughters, Lenore Williams-Jake, Cosandra Williams and Deneen Williams-James, all of North Las Vegas; two sons, Erick Williams of North Las Vegas and Ernest Williams Jr. of Las Vegas; three sisters, Bertha Hill and Lillie Williams, both of North Las Vegas, and Dorothy Hines of Phoenix; four brothers, Oliver Williams Jr. of North Las Vegas and Lee Edward Williams, McKinley Williams and Woodrow Williams, all of St. Louis; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
