NEW YORK -- Citigroup Inc., the financial services company that owns the nation's largest bank, notified employees Tuesday it would begin offering benefits to the partners of gay workers.
Benefits also will be extended to the live-in partners of heterosexual workers, under the policy that takes effect in May. Citigroup's Citibank unit has branches and a big call center in Las Vegas.
