Guinn names Gascue to Board of Education

Gascue fills a vacancy created by the death in December of Board of Education member Yvonne Shaw.
"Dr. Gascue has 30 years' worth of experience as a teacher and administrator in Nevada and during that time has continually demonstrated his dedication to improving the qualify of education in our state," Guinn said.
Gascue retired from the Washoe County School District in 1998 after serving as assistant superintendent and senior director of secondary education. He also was principal of Reno and Hug high schools from 1980 to 1989.
