BLM puts more land up for sale
Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2000 | 10:53 a.m.
The Bureau of Land Management is putting the "For Sale" sign on another 400 acres of land in the Las Vegas Valley.
The land is the second sale resulting from the 1998 Southern Nevada Public Land Management Act, in which the BLM was ordered to dispose of 27,000 acres in the valley.
The latest land will be auctioned off in 93 parcels - most of them one and two acres each.
The sale will be held June 8 and 9 at the Clark County Government Center.
