1st Race -- Waypoint - Should be forwardly placed throughout, draws good post, P. Val. on Mitchell trainee. Loma Lad - Starts from middle post, Flores/Baffert team, a factor for victory throughout. Value Play -- Gambling Demon
2nd Race -- Royal Debut - Draws well, hustling Puglisi aboard Duncan trainee, adds blinkers for this. Memoree - Starts just inside top pick, Gomez scales Sadler trainee, a factor to graduate here. Value Play -- The Wicked West
3rd Race -- Straight Man - Shortens back to sprinting, promising runner has erratic performances, but, should polish off this field. Sei - Argentine import draws just inside top pick, Desormeaux on Moreno trainee, could trip out if things get crazy in this short field. Value Play -- Let's Go Surfing
4th Race -- Emailit - Fits this spot, hustling Puglisi aboard West trainee, good post in competitive field. Island Caper - Hustling Pedroza aboard Carava trainee, should be a forward factor throughout; productive team. Value Play -- Jack The Bull
5th Race -- Macward - Draws good post for downhill run, training at Hollypark, hot-riding Nakatani on this half of Jory 'hidden' entry. Shadow Creek - Irish-bred runner draws inside post, Gomez gets the call on Sadler trainee, needs clean trip to win. Value Play -- Very Carleon
6th Race -- Malabar Gold - Returns to shorter one-turn distance after bombing in route Hollypark stakes in last, Nakatani takes over on Shirreffs trainee, expect turnaround here. Joopy Doopy - Has been competitive at this level, draws good post to size up competition, should give another good account with Espinoza aboard. Value Play -- Archer City Slew
7th Race -- Here's To You - McCarron scales Gallagher trainee, has run some big races, needs to overcome post, first turn trip should tell the tale here. Cris The Swimmer - Draws good post, has won races good enough to score here, Desormeaux on Dolan trainee. Value Play -- Ta Ta Be True
8th Race -- Talka Lotta Bull - Flores takes this one from a pair of Baffert trainees in the race, owned by Indian Charlie's Hal Earnhardt fame--that ain't no bull. Wild Ambition - Team Lukas trainee gets Pat Day aboard, draws outside post, needs a good trip to graduate. Value Play -- Lytle Creek
9th Race -- Cliqout - Drawn in a three-way meltdown in San Fernando stakes in last, should go better in this spot with stalking tactics employed, Eddie D. on Shirreffs trainee. General Challenge - Stopped in traffic trying for the diamond lane in San Fernando stakes in last, rider change to top jock Nakatani, Baffert trainee should san trouble in small field here. Value Play -- Cape Canaveral
10th Race - Naninja - Mitchell trainee tries a mile now, draws good post, Nakatani aboard, should get good trip to win here. Porbandar - Training at Hollypark, draws good inside post, Espinoza aboard Drysdale trainee, good spot for action. Value Play -- Trident
