Benjamin Burke
Benjamin Burke, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born July 5, 1937, in Honolulu. A resident for seven years, he was a pharmacy systems coordinator and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; two sons, Rudell Burke and Randall Burke, and one daughter, Candice Burke, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Frank Burke and Peterson Burke, and three sisters, Henrietta Lyman, May Kama and Valerie Burke, all of Honolulu; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Christ Church Episcopal, 2000 Maryland Parkway. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Las Vegas, P.O. Box 26689, Las Vegas, NV 89126.
Rena Belle Caron
Rena Belle Caron, 59, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. She was born Jan. 7, 1941, in Bandera, Texas. A resident for five years, she worked in the accounting department of an engineering firm and was a member of Vegas Villagers.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald J.; one son, Rick Eiler of Chatsworth, Calif.; one daughter, Traci Gordon of Woodland Hills, Calif.; three stepdaughters, Lisa Salmen of Citrus Heights, Calif., Cindy Tucker of Orangeville, Calif., and Linda Johnson of Honolulu; one sister, Marti Bowman of Wyoming, Del.; one brother, Jim Exum of San Antonio; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Monday in Paradise Memorial Gardens chapel. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Gerald William Clark
Gerald William Clark, 62, of Las Vegas died Jan. 19 in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 8, 1937, in Michigan. A resident for three months, he was a taxi driver and a veteran.
He is survived by one sister, Judith A. Rogers of Longwood, Fla.; and two stepbrothers, Jeffrey F. Clark and Joan L. Garrison, both of Michigan.
No local services were scheduled. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Thomas R. Conant Sr.
Thomas R. Conant Sr., 43, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 8, 1956, in Natchitoches, La. A resident for eight years, he was a gaming technician and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Gwen; one son, Thomas R. Conant II of Las Vegas; two daughters, Lauren A. Conant and Kristyn N. Conant, both of Las Vegas; his father, Ernest Hays, and his mother, Catherine Conant-Couty, both of Natchitoches; two brothers, Joseph Colson Jr. of Louisiana and James Colson of Perris, Calif.; three sisters, Elizabeth Lyles of Houston and Roxanne Coleman and Linda Conant, both of Los Angeles.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Services will be 9 a.m. Friday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Stanley E. Coslett
Stanley E. Coslett, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born June 11, 1926, in Chicago. A resident for 2 1/2 years, he was a retired Navy senior chief aviation boatswain's mate and a World War II, Korean and Vietnam wars veteran. He left the Navy in 1968 after serving on the carrier Constellation.
He is survived by his wife, Mary K.; two daughters, Karen L. Coslett-Ichikawa of Ben Lomond, Calif., and Lisa M. Rodriguez of Glendora, Calif.; one son, Mark S. Kincheloe of Norco, Calif.; one brother, David Coslett of Lake Jackson, Texas; one sister, Colleen Pattee of Maryland; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled 4 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Evelyn C. DeCuir
Evelyn C. DeCuir, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 16, 1933, in Louisiana. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by seven sons, Joseph, John, David, Henry, Michael, Glenn and Jeffrey; four daughters, Glenda Shubin, Rita Anderson, Julie Mitchell and Jessica Pagel; two sisters, Agnes Jarreau and Mable Gremmilion; 22 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services are scheduled 10 a.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be 11:30 a.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Martha E. Fandel
Martha E. Fandel, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 9, 1926, in Oreana, Ill. A resident for 37 years, she was a retired secretary for the school district.
She is survived by her husband, Harold G.; five daughters, Debbie Adamson of Kenai, Alaska, Linda Knilans of Henderson, and Julie Robinson, Rebecca Lewis and Susan Early, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Alice Brooks and Joyce Hullinger, both of Oreana; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services are scheduled 1:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. is handling arrangements.

Cheryl D. Henry, 42, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 12, 1957, in San Angelo, Texas. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker and a Desert Storm Air Force veteran.
She is survived by her husband, Garry A.; one sister, Janice S. Hall of Blackwell, Texas; one brother, Richard W. Wiyckstandt of Atlanta; her father, A.W. Andrae, and her grandmother, Marie Hyatt, both of San Angelo.
A memorial service was scheduled at 3 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Herbert V. Horch
Herbert V. Horch, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born July 5, 1916, in Hoisington, Kan. A resident for 44 years, he was a retired banker, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a member of the Las Vegas Rotary Club and the Masons in Genoa.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, June; two daughters, Juneen Horch and Gail Taylor, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Millie Heronemus of Kansas; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. Friday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Robert Loren Howington
Robert Loren Howington, 21, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 23, 1978, in Syracuse, N.Y. A resident for one year, he was in telephone sales.
He is survived by his parents, Robert Howington of Las Vegas and Wanda McKeller of New York; one brother; and two sisters.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 4 p.m. memorial service Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Irma Katzenstein
Irma Katzenstein, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 2, 1920, in Germany. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Tuman of Arroyo Grande, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., handled arrangements.
Bob Korleski
Bob Korleski, 61, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born April 1, 1938, in Detroit. A resident for six years, he was a body shop manager.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; four daughters, Maureen Seville, Colleen Laub and Sherri McKinney, all of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Lori Ellebracht of St. Louis; one son, Rob Korleski of Las Vegas; one stepson, Kevin Lee of Palmdale, Calif.; four brothers, Mike Korleski of Marshall, N.C., Gary Korleski and Greg Korleski, both of Lake Orion, Mich., and Wayne Korleski of Pompano Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Donna Korleski of Michigan and Nancy Menge of Las Vegas; and 11 grandchildren.
Services are scheduled 1 p.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.
Marjore Ann Latzel
Marjore Ann Latzel, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 16, 1924, in Tennessee. A resident for 16 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis; one son, Jimmie Walker; one daughter, Ann Basinger; four sisters, Nell Sunderland, Charlene Earnest, Clara Hall and Lucille Mayhall; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Amalia Leso
Amalia Leso, 98, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born July 2, 1901, in Italy. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Josephine Bohn and Angelina Muller, both of Las Vegas, and Matilda Santacroce of New York; one sister, Frances Geradei of New York; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday in Hites Funeral Services. A private burial will follow.
Ruby Anna Lewis
Ruby Anna Lewis, 85, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local health care center. She was born Feb. 12, 1914, in Lincoln, Neb. A resident for 49 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Pauline Vincent, Lucille Watts and Helen Isaacs; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Thomas U. Libonati
Thomas U. Libonati, 68, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Aug. 8, 1931, in Denver. A resident for seven years, he was a carpenter in the construction industry.
He is survived by one son, Vincent Libonati of Las Vegas; one daughter, Annette Fontain of Reno; one sister, Peggy Cusruccio of Denver; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled 1 p.m. Saturday in Central Christian Church, 1000 Mark St. Burial will be private. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.
John Joseph Long
John Joseph Long, 38, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 28, 1961, in Stoneham, Mass. A resident for 15 years, he was a telemarketing salesperson.
He is survived by his parents, Eugene and Eleanor Long of Las Vegas; three brothers, Eugene M. Long of Danvers, Mass., and Brian Long and Paul W. Long, both of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Judith A. Hedden of Henderson and Patricia E. Sampson of Peabody.
Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Henderson. Nevada Funeral Service, 725 S. Casino Center, Suite 208, is handling arrangements.
Jeanine Napoleon
Jeanine Napoleon of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born in New York City. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired singer who performed in Las Vegas for 15 years and was a member of the Musicians Performing Union.
She is survived by one brother, Matthew A. Napoleon of Newburyport, Mass.

Victor W. Neumiller
Victor W. Neumiller, 68, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born May 29, 1931, in Akaska, S.D. A resident for 48 years, he was a retired chemical engineer for a chemical plant for 38 years and a Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by three daughters, Gloria Martino, Julie Neumiller and Lolly Neumiller, and three sons, Michael Neumiller, John Neumiller and Paul Neumiller, all of Henderson; five brothers, Clayton Neumiller and Raymond Neumiller, both of Rapid City, S.D., Robert Neumiller of Lead, S.D., Gary Neumiller of Golden, Colo., and Dennis Neumiller of Bennett, Colo.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Additional visitation is scheduled two hours prior to 1 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park.

Katherine A. O'Connell, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born Sept. 28, 1919, in Denver. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, David O'Connell and Danny O'Connell, both of Washington; one daughter, Ellen Stefko of Las Vegas; two brothers, Frank Bowman and Willis Bowman, both of Colorado; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Joyce H. Schmidt
Joyce H. Schmidt, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 7, 1929, in Childress, Texas. A resident for 39 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Moose.
She is survived by her husband, Lamont; one daughter, Virginia Smith of Tunica, Miss.; five sons, Lamont Schmidt Jr. of Burlington, Kan., Ted Schmidt of Las Vegas, Bill Schmidt of Tunica, Randy Schmidt of Sheridan, Wyo., and Dave Schmidt of Seattle; two aunts, Faye Hackler of Childress and Pauline Long of Tucson, Ariz.; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7:30 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park.
Werner 'Wolf' Thyrauer
Werner "Wolf" Thyrauer, 48, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born Oct. 30, 1951, in Germany. A resident for 15 years, he was a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife, Rochelle; his mother, Susanne Smiddy of Evening Shade, Ark.; and one sister, Susan Wright-Jones of Kansas.

Barry Wells
Barry Wells, 49, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 11, 1950, in Colorado. A resident for months, he was self employed in the collection industry. He is survived by one son, Don Wells of New Mexico.

Tamara Chere Williamson
Tamara Chere Williamson, 30, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 7, 1969, in California. A resident for 10 years, she was a phone reservationist in the transportation industry.
She is survived by her mother, Linda L. Anderson of Las Vegas; one brother, Danny Williamson of Visalia, Calif.; and one sister, Rhonda Mitchell of Tulare, Calif.
No local services are scheduled. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling local arrangements, and Evans-Miller Exeter Chapel, Exeter, Calif., is handling out-of-town arrangements.
Vern Yenglin
Vern Yenglin, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 9, 1922, in Idaho. A resident for 30 years, he co-owned Las Vegas Slot Service.
He is survived by one son, Lyle Yenglin of Henderson; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-6 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services are scheduled 1 p.m. Saturday at Bunkers. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
