Hamilton’s closed to smoking

Smokers will no longer be lighting up at Hamilton's cigar bar in the New York-New York hotel-casino.
The lounge closed earlier this week without notice to its 25 employees and the public. The lounge is owned in part by actor George Hamilton.
Jeffrey Landesberg, general manager of Hamilton's Lounge, said the owners "decided to go into other areas," but provided no further details.
Landesberg said business dropped when the hotel ceased operation of its wedding chapel. Hamilton's would host wedding receptions of 25 to 100 people several times a month.
"We felt that effect immediately," Landesberg said.
