Contractor sued by four unions

Four local carpenters' unions joint trust funds filed a federal lawsuit against Pacific Provisions Inc. of Las Vegas, alleging it failed to pay health and welfare benefits.
The plaintiffs include the trustees of the Carpenters Health and Welfare Trust for Southern Nevada, the trustees of the Construction Industry and Carpenters Joint Pension Trust for Southern Nevada, the trustees of the Southern Nevada Carpenters and Millwrights Apprenticeship Training Committee and trustees of the Southern California-Nevada Regional Council of Carpenters Vacation Trust for Southern Nevada.
Pacific Provisions officials could not be reached for comment.
