Outlaws get 8 players in supplemental draft

The Las Vegas Outlaws chose offensive tackle Jon Blackman of Purdue in the first round of the XFL's supplemental draft today. The Outlaws also added quarterback Mike Cawley of James Madison, wide receiver Brett Bech of LSU, defensive end Carl Simpson of Florida State, tight end Eli Workman of Colorado State, running back Pepe Pearson of Ohio State, defensive end John De-Witt of Vanderbilt and kicker Omar Cardenas of Mexico.
The Outlaws will report for physical exams on Tuesday prior to starting workouts on Wednesday.
