Lillie Belle Bolden

Lillie Belle Bolden, 52, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 31, 1947, in San Diego. A resident for 36 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Joseph D. Jackson, Terrence Bolden and Demario Bolden, two daughters, Marquitta Coleman and Tamisha Bolden, and one brother, James Jackson, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Rosa Lee Douglas of Sacramento and Bessie Gatlin and Mary Jackson, both of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

James Dean Brown

James Dean Brown, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 14, 1928, in Missouri. A resident for 13 years, he was a building inspector for in Pittsburg, Calif., a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Vera; one son, Rick of Idaho; one daughter, Debbie Jaeschke of Las Vegas; one brother, Dr. Gene M. Brown of Concord, Mass.; and four grandchildren.

Virginia Pace Brown

Virginia Pace Brown, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 1, 1922, in Medford, Mass. A resident for 2 1/2 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert; two sons, Robert H. Brown Jr., of Port Angeles, Wash., and Kenneth Lee Brown of Henderson; two daughters, Margie Neeley of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Nancy Skoff of Los Angeles; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 am. Saturday in the Stewart and Prince LDS chapel.

Betty Byerly

Betty Byerly, 77, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born July 8, 1923, in Dallas, Iowa. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired nurse.

She is survived by three daughters, Greta Stevens of North Las Vegas, Gari Walker of Las Vegas and Dana McKelvey of Carson City; one son, Larry Underwood of North Las Vegas; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, Downtown.

Oscar A. Cano

Oscar A. Cano, 68, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born June 17, 1932, in Argentina. A resident for 36 years, he retired from the Desert Inn after 19 years as a 21 dealer.

He is survived by his wife, Elena; one daughter, Carolyn Cano, and one son, Johnny Cano, both of Henderson; and three brothers, Hector Cano, Roque Cano and Luis Cano, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services are scheduled 11 a.m. Friday in St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Irene E. Carey

Irene E. Carey, 94, of Carson City died Dec. 19 in a care center. She was born March 21, 1906, in Michigan. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Potter of Carson City; one son, Michael Carey of Imperial Beach, Calif.; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will follow in Palm Memory Gardens.

Charles Tillman Collaso

Charles Tillman Collaso, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 6, 1924, in Louisiana. A resident for nine years, he was a produce manager and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Ernestine; two sons, Charles Collaso III of Washington, D.C., and Michael Collaso of San Jose, Calif.; two daughters, Judith Collaso of Washing, Calif., and Robyn Markoe of Detroit; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

James Curtin

James Curtin, 46, of Las Vegas died Dec. 17 in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 21, 1954, in New York. A longtime resident, he was a musician.

He is survived by his father, David Curtin Sr., of Del Rey Beach, Fla.; two brothers, David Curtin Jr., of Lakewood, Colo., and Timothy Curtin of Colorado; and one sister, Nancy Curtin of New York.

James E. Deambro, 81, of Las Vegas died Dec. 5 in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 24, 1919, in Colo. A resident for 14 years, he was self employed in the shoe making industry.

He is survived by two brothers, Robert and Sam Deambro; and one sister, Teresa Dingrando.

William Anthony Driggins

William Anthony Driggins, 50, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 25, 1950, in Corning, N.Y. A resident for one year, he was an insurance salesman.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, William Driggins and Ellen Driggins, both of Portland, Ore.; two sisters, Virginia Driggins of Portland and Elleves Wilson of Ames, Iowa; and two brothers, Christopher Driggins of Portland and Darryl Driggins of Las Vegas.

Robert Emde

Robert Emde, 60, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 27, 1940, in Bayside, N.Y. A resident for 31 years, he was a retired Metro Police detective and a member of the Police Protection Association.

He is survived by three daughters, Joanne Cox, Jeanne Delio and Dawn Emde, and one son, Christopher Emde, all of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Georganne Cook of Overton; two brothers, Thomas Emde and Gerard Emde, both of New York; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Beatrice Entis, 91, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born March 31, 1909, in Patterson, N.J. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Marvin Entis of Culver City, Calif., and Stanley Entis of Colleyville, Texas; one daughter, Linda McCarthey of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Joseph P. Glusic

Joseph P. Glusic, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Jan. 28, 1924, in Waukegan, Ill. A resident for six years, he was a retired police officer and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Joe Glusic of Henderson and Frank Glusic of Mundelien, Ill.; two brothers, Steve Glusic of Waukegan and John Glusic of Lake Forest, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

Jimmie Greer Sr.

Jimmie Greer Sr., 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born April 23, 1939, in Tyler, Texas. A resident for 34 years, he was a retired accounting technician for the government and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Rochelle; six daughters, Jeanne Jones of Sanford, Calif., Dorothy Greer and Elsa Greer, both of Lanham, Md., Norma Greer-Harris and Rosalie Greer, both of Camp Springs, Md., and Emma Greer of Norwich England; three sons, Jimmie Greer Jr., of Pound, Va., and Anthony Holt and Earl Greer, both of Las Vegas; his stepmother, Alice Greer and one brother, Jackie Greer, both of Dallas; one sister, Josephine Greer of Las Vegas; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Clemmie Harrell, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Aug. 7, 1922, in Hattiesburg, Miss. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; one son, Gary DeClerk of Federal Way, Wash.; two sisters, Lucille Bettingfield of San Diego, Calif., and Dorothy Hoag of Quincy, Calif.; two brothers, Arnold Hawkins and Robert Hawkins, both of Shreveport, La.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Ruth J. Hemphill, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born March 17, 1926, in Mississippi. A resident for five months, she was sorter for the Postal Service.

Kenya Michelle Johnson-Fields

Kenya Michelle Johnson-Fields, 25, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 8, 1975, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a VIP representative at the Monte Carlo.

She is survived by her husband, Marell; two sons, Davion Grubbs and Jordan Wingfield, her mother and stepfather, Deborah Tunstall and John Tunstall, her father, Kenny Guice, two brothers, Jermaine Williams and James Williams, and her grandparents, Nasif and Hattie Johnson and Will and Carrie McDowell, all of Las Vegas.

Bernard Klein

Bernard Klein, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born May 21, 1912, in New York City. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired truck driver for a laundry company.

He is survived by his companion, Roberta Bleier of Las Vegas; one son, Irving Klein and one sister, Jean Raff, both of Cypress, Calif.; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Karen Kozak, 44, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born July 29, 1956, in New York City. A resident for seven years, she was a waitress for 25 years.

She is survived by her mother, Frances Lee of Las Vegas; and one brother, Irving Kozak of Henderson.

Mack Marenko

Mack Marenko, 65, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 20, 1935, in Williamson, W.Va. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired showroom maitre d', a Korean War Marine Corps veteran, a member of the Masons, Zelzah Shrine Temple and Alcoholic Anonymous since 1963.

He is survived by his wife, Anne; two daughters, Johnnie Marenko and Stevie Marenko, and two sons, Mack Marenko and Frankie Marenko, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Betty Blackburn and Elizabeth Hite, both of Williamson, and Sena Hungate of Tampa, Fla.; and two brothers, George Marenko of El Toro, Calif., and Clifford Marenko of Williamson.

Frank Bradford Marshall

Frank Bradford Marshall, 41, of Las Vegas died Dec. 17 in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 10, 1959, in Illinois. A resident for 10 years, he was a laborer for the convention center and a former teamster.

He is survived by his father, Frank; his mother, Lucille; and one sister, Katherine Marshall Bearden.

He is survived by one daughter, Patricia Willis of Las Vegas; three brothers, Henry Mike, Joe Mike and George Mike, and two sisters, Laura Salters and Ella Cooper, all of Newark, N.J.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

John S. Mohlhenrich

John S. Mohlhenrich, 69, of Boulder City died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 12, 1931, in Baltimore. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired naturalist for the federal government, a Korean War Air Force veteran and a past state president of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry; one daughter, Eugenia Mohlhenrich of Albuquerque, N.M.; one son, Mark Mohlhenrich of Indian Springs; one brother, Gene Mohlhenrich of Baltimore; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She is survived by her husband, Ray; one son, Raymond Pouncy of Kokomo, Ind.; one daughter, Tonya Pouncy of Mobile, Ala.; one brother, Gary Anderson of East St. Louis, Ill.; and one grandchild.

Morey Rappert, 90, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 4, 1910, in South Bend, Ind. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired furniture company owner.

He is survived by one daughter, Maurine "Rene" Saxton of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Josephine G. Rosales, 82, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 20, 1918, in Hayden, Ariz. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Lenora Herrera of Lawton, Okla.; one son, Celedonio Mendoza of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Joseph F. Sherry, 70, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born May 22, 1930, in New Jersey. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired longshoreman in the shipping industry and a retired member of the International Longshoremen's Association.

He is survived by his wife, Irene; one son, Joseph J. Sherry of Las Vegas; four sisters, Joan Brew of Las Vegas, Rosemary McGraw of Jersey City, N.J., Catherine Carroll of Virginia and Margaret Fox of New Jersey; one brother, Edward P. Sherry of Henderson; and one grandchild.

Sean D. Thomas, 19, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born March 17, 1981, in Henderson. A lifelong resident, he was a specialist in the Army Reserve and graduated from Vo-Tech High School in 1999 with honors in welding.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda Thomas of Parkston, S.D.; one sister, Sarah Thomas of Parkston; and one brother, Cedric Thomas of Las Vegas.

Phillip D. Trail

Phillip D. Trail, 57, of Las Vegas died Dec. 18 in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 18, 1943, in Chicago. A resident for 32 years, he was an electronics technician for a computer company and a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Sean Trail and Kennan Trail, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Darrel Trail of Chicago; and six grandchildren.

Frances Louise Trebuchon

Frances Louise Trebuchon, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born May 23, 1923, in Sanford, N.C. A resident for 37 years, she was a retired bookkeeper of 30 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Hall of Las Vegas and Kathy Thomas-Forges of Canoga Park, Calif.; one son, Terry Thomas of Cedar City, Utah; and one brother, Casey Trebuchon of Yerington.

Clara K. Turner, 86, of Boulder City died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 17, 1914, in Winfield, Mo. A resident for 54 years, she was a retired secretarial customer service worker for Boulder Dam Credit Union after 20 years, a member of the Boulder City Eastern Star, Rebecca Lodge, and Daughters of the Nile, a past worthy matron of the Eastern Star and Past Noble of the Rebeccas.

She is survived by her husband, Frank; two daughters, Patricia A. Gribben and Kathleen C. Sublett, both of Reno; two sons, David M. Turner of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Steven G. Turner of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Grace E. Williams, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 6, 1921, in Clearfield, Pa. A resident for 47 years, she was a retired jewelry manufacturing representative and a member of Teamsters Local 995.

She is survived by one daughter, Cindy Lou Hess of Las Vegas; three sisters, Betty, Mary and Jean, all of Baltimore; and one grandchild.
