A North Las Vegas nightclub manager was shot to death early this morning while working in the club's office.
Paramedics were called to the Palomino Club in the 1800 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North about 3:30 a.m. to treat a victim of a fall. But when they treated Kenneth R. Rowan, 53, they found that he had been shot in the stomach, police said.
Rowan was taken to University Medical Center, where he later died, police said.
Police said Rowan was working in his office at the time of the shooting. There were several patrons and employees in the club at the time, but there has been no suspect identified, police said.
Rowan's death is the 12th homicide in North Las Vegas so far this year.
