A classic
The Nevada Ballet Theatre presents its annual production of "The Nutcracker" at 8 p.m. today, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, 1 p.m. Sunday and 2 p.m. Tuesday in UNLV's Judy Bayley Theater. Tickets are $20, $30, $40 and $50. Call 895-2787.
Native dances
The Folkloric Dance Festival III, featuring pre-Hispanic and folkloric dances from Mexico performed by the Mexican Folkloric Ballet Tepuchcalli and the Orgullo Mestizo dance troupe from Fontana, Calif., will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Venetian Showroom. Fiesta traditions
Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano and Ballet Folklorico Ollin present "Fiesta Navidad," a Christmas pageant featuring Mexican Christmas traditions, at 8 p.m. today at UNLV's Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $19, $29, $39. Call 895-2787.
Christmas music
The Crusaders will sing Christmas music at the 9:30 and 11 a.m. services Sunday at the Salvation Army, 2900 Palomino Lane. Call 870-4430.
The Celebration Singers and Glory Ringers youth choirs will perform at the 8 p.m. service Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd. The Chancel Choir and Rejoice! Handbell Ensemble will perform "A Festival of Lessons and Carols" at the 11 p.m. Christmas Eve service Sunday. Call 384-4554.

'Babes in Toyland'
Jade Productions presents "Babes in Toyland" at 8 p.m. today and Saturday at the Summerlin Performing Arts Center, 1771 Inner Circle Drive. Tickets are $15; $13.50 for students and seniors; $10 for children under 12. Call 263-6385.
Holiday theme
The Community College of Southern Nevada Preforming Arts Center and the Society for the Preservation of Arts, Culture and Environments presents a Christmas festival featuring the play "O, Christmas Tree," about how families deal with grief as well as life, at 8 p.m. today and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Little Theatre, 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave. Pre-show festivities begin at 7 p.m. with carolers. Tickets are $10 for adults; $8 for students and seniors. Call 651-5483.
Whitney Library
The Center Stage Inc. presents "A Very Gay Christmas Carol," a spoof of the Dickens' classic, at 8 p.m., through Sunday at the Whitney Library Theater, 5157 E. Tropicana Ave. Tickets are $12; $8 for seniors. 396-7422.
