Nancy Benson
Nancy Benson, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 24, 1925, in North Carolina. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Danny Benson, and one daughter, Bennie Kauppi, both of Las Vegas; three brothers, Wilburn Banner, Durward Banner and Lawrence Banner, and one sister, Mavis Banner-Smith, all of Germantown, N.C.
No local services are scheduled. Graveside services will be in Riverside, Calif. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Bonnie Joy Brown
Bonnie Joy Brown, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born March 18, 1931, in Des Moines, Iowa. A resident for 38 years, she was a retired waitress.
She is survived by her husband, William F. Jr.; one daughter, Tammy Lynn Brown of Omaha, Neb.; three sons, Stephen Wessel of Omaha and William Frank Brown III and Michael J. Baugess, both of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Henderson.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Clyde Cahill
Clyde Cahill, 79, of Las Vegas and Caliente died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 14, 1921. A longtime resident, he was a sailor.
He is survived by his longtime friend, Kurt Lee of Caliente.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Caliente City Cemetery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Joy Capasso
Joy Capasso, 62, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 23, 1938, in Alabama. A resident for three years, she was a hotel-casino customer service representative.
She is survived by her husband, Dominick; one son, Robert Nelson of New Jersey; two daughters, Melissa Arnold of Texas and Andrea Egna of Florida; and her mother, Bessie Parish of Alabama.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Lakeworth, Fla. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Rosa M. Ibarra
Rosa M. Ibarra, 36, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born March 11, 1964, in El Paso, Texas. A resident for 12 years, she was a medical secretary.
She is survived by her husband, Manuel; one son, Justin Lee Rhodes; two daughters, Crystal Alvarez and Aracelia Elizabeth Ibarra; two brothers, Francesco Torres and Rafael Rubio; one sister, Anabela Rascon; and two grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 9 a.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Raymond Kall
Raymond Kall, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born Sept. 19, 1923, in Rahway, N.J. A resident for 2 1/2 years, he was a mail carrier, a Navy veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Clare; two sons, Rich Kall and Ray Kall; three daughters, Nancy, Kathy and Patty; three brothers, Jim, Jack and Edward; one sister, Helen; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Kenneth Aubrey Kiley
Kenneth Aubrey Kiley, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born June 2, 1931, in New York City. A resident for one year, he was a senior editor and writer of scientific research, an Air Force veteran, a member of Habitat for Humanity, Rotary International, Stanford Alumni Association, American Association of University Professors, a scout master and earned degrees from Menlo College, Stanford University, University of Michigan and a Fulbright Scholarship to the University of Berlin, Germany.
He is survived by his wife, Monika M.; one daughter, Karin Kiley Bowman of Salt Lake City; two sons, Christopher A. Kiley of Grand Forks, N.D., and Kevin A. Kiley of Salt Lake City; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday in All Saints Episcopal Church, 4201 W. Washington Ave. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
Lena Morrison
Lena Morrison, 89, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born July 14, 1911, in Dickson, Tenn.
She is survived by one son, William Morrison of Las Vegas.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Harold Odell
Harold Odell, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 2, 1916, in Nebraska. A resident for six years, he was an aerospace engineer and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille; four sons, Chris Odell of Las Vegas and Donald Odell, Dino DeRango and William DeRango, all of California; one daughter, Denise Moorehead of California; one brother, Sam Odell, and two sisters, Hanna Hageman and Lottie Rogers, all of Nebraska; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3 p.m. Saturday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Graveside services will be in California.
Andrew Jackson Ross
Andrew Jackson Ross, 71, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 23, 1929, in Illinois. A resident for many years, he was a schoolteacher.
He is survived by one son, Karl C. Ross of South Holland, Ill.; and one daughter, Andrea Ross of Chicago.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Illinois. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Geraldine Maynard Sensback
Geraldine Maynard Sensback, 65, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 14, 1935, in Pikeville, Ky. A resident for 31 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the DOES Lodge in Boulder City.
She is survived by her husband, John G.; one son, John A. Sensback Sr. of Florida; one daughter, Colleen Christy of Henderson; three brothers, John W. Maynard of West Virginia, Haskel Maynard of Alabama and Thomas E. Maynard of Kentucky; one sister, Minervia Pavia of Ohio; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until noon services Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Lester Gordon Thompson
Lester Gordon Thompson, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born March 22, 1922, in Bradenton, Fla. A resident for three years, he was a retired World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; three daughters, Tiffany Michel of Omaha, Neb., Melyssa Crutchfield of Anchorage, Alaska, and Rebecca Erickson of Lake City, Fla.; four brothers; four sisters; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 30 minutes prior to 2 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
William Glynn Willis
William Glynn Willis, 71, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born April 16, 1929, in North Carolina. A resident for 10 years, he was a truck driver and an Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Alexander Willis; one daughter, Glenna Hadley; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Wayne K. Yeoman
Wayne K. Yeoman, 53, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born April 23, 1947, in Henderson. A lifelong resident, he was a plumber and pipefitter and a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 525.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; three daughters, Misty Smith and Genise Velasquez, both of Henderson, and Melissa Falkner of Columbus, Mont.; one son, Derrick Yeoman of Henderson; his mother, Velma Yeoman of Las Vegas; three sisters, Rita Oxborrow of Boulder City and Theresa Rodriguez and Tina Yeoman, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Jimmy Jack Yeoman of Henderson; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
