Letter: Clinton legacy is one of betrayal
Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000 | 9:52 a.m.
This is in response to a Dec. 13 letter to the editor by Ruth Naiditch.
Can I ask her what planet has she been living on the past couple of years? She stated, "President Clinton did not steal his elections, nor did he betray the voters and country."
Do the words, "Read my lips, I did not have sex with that woman," ring a bell, and of course let's not forget when the president of the United States was under oath to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth -- oops. Please don't tell me those don't count.
President Clinton betrayed his wife, his daughter and this entire country. Clinton's motto has been to deny, deny, deny and even when they have a picture, deny it. But, oh, that darn blue dress.
