A Las Vegas exotic apparel retailer sued its two former owners, alleging they reneged on an agreement to pay $1.5 million for the store.
In a Clark County District Court suit, Elri doing business as Bare Essentials-Fantasy Fashions sued Gary and Anna "Carla" Collins, alleging they defaulted on the $1.5 million payment.
The suit said the defendants claimed they needed to operate the store for one week to determine if they could successfully run the business. It said they had the locks to the store changed on July 16, removed all files, failed to provide accounting documents and allegedly overdrew on the business' bank account.
The defendants could not be reached for comment.
