Wedding: Edling, Wood

John and Carol Darnell of Las Vegas and Richard Edling of Palm Desert, Calif., gave their daughter, Gina Marie Edling of Las Vegas, in marriage to Jonathan Andrew Wood of Las Vegas, in a ceremony on Aug. 12 at Spring Valley Assembly of God. The reception was held in the ballroom at Desert Vista in Sun City Summerlin. The groom's parents are the late Gale Wood and Daniel and Debbie Hannum of Las Vegas.

Youth Pastor Daniel Hannum officiated at the ceremony.

Tiffany A. Skelton was the maid of honor and Jacob Wood was best man. The bridesmaids in attendance were Jessica Wood, Kimberly Dyer, Mary Dyer, Berkley Baker and Nicole Rispoli. The groomsmen were Brandon Griffen, Paul Wagner, Jared Englerth and Chad Matsuda. The flower girl was Renee' Rispoli, and Daniel and David Lee were the ring bearers. The candlelighters were Katie Lee and Steven J. Darnell, brother of the bride.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Las Vegas Academy and is a praise and worship leader, singer and bible club president. Agraduate of Christ for the Nation College in Dallas, she is assistant worship pastor at Jubilee Fellowship in Highlands Ranch, Colo., and a special needs aide for the Douglas County, (Colo.) School District.

The groom, a 1998 Spring Valley Academy graduate, attended Christ for the Nation College, and is a songwriter and the worship pastor at Jubilee Fellowship in Highlands Ranch.

The pair honeymooned in Monterey, Calif., and reside in Denver.
