Construction is expected to begin in the spring on a 9.42-acre development in Summerlin that will include professional offices and restaurants.
The master-planned Plaza Commerce Center will include 95,000 square feet of building and office pads to be built by Triad Development, a group of local business people led by Mark Fine.
A spokesman said five prospects have expressed interest in leasing sites for medical offices and restaurants, but their identities were not disclosed. Financial terms of the project, to be located across the street from the Trails Village Shopping Center near the Summerlin Library and Performing Arts Center, were not detailed.
In addition to Fine, Triad principals include J. Christopher Stuhmer of Christopher Homes, Scott Godino, president of the Equity Group, Daniel Otter, managing director, and Douglas Crook, who will handle sales.
