Henderson to host package for teens
An all-day ski trip for teens is being hosted by the Henderson Parks and Recreation Department Jan. 20.
Buses will depart at 3:30 a.m. from the Silver Springs Recreation Center, 1951 Silver Springs Parkway, and 4 a.m. from the Lorna J. Kesterson Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris St. The bus leaves Brian Head 30 minutes after the lifts close at 5 p.m.
Teens 12-15 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Teens ages 16-17 may travel unescorted if registered by a parent or guardian.
The registration fee of $85 per person includes roundtrip transportation and a full-day lift ticket. Ski rentals (skis, boots and poles) are available for an additional $20, while snowboard packages are available for $26 through Brian Head Ski Rentals.
Registration must be received by Dec. 27. For additional information about the excursion, call 565-2880.

Wenesday 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Clark County School District, 2832 E. Flamingo Road, noon-5 p.m. at Cox Communications, 121 S. Martin L. King Blvd., and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Army 6th Recruiting Brigade, 4539 N. 5th St..
Thursday 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Clark County Courthouse, 200 S. Third St. on the first floor, and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at JCM American, 925 Pilot Road.
Friday 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at United Artists Community, 3769 Las Vegas Blvd. South, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at MountainView Hospital, 3150 N. Tenaya Way, and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Sunrise Colony, 445 Monte San Savino.
Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at YMCA, 4141 Meadows Lane and 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Winchester Community Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive.

will hear from Eric Johnston of Microsoft talk about Windows ME, the newest version of the company's operating system for home users, 6:15 p.m. Jan. 3 at the West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Immunizations:
Health District immunization clinics are open each week in Southern Nevada. Im- munizations are provided without charge to children and young adults under the age of 21 in any of four public health centers and 15 satellite clinics. All Health District Clinics will be closed Monday for Christ mas. These clinics will be open Dec. 20 through Dec. 26:

FREMONT MEDICAL CLINIC: 4880 S. Wynn Road, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. Immunizations free to anyone who walks in.
