Gasoline prices in Las Vegas this month average $1.75 per gallon, down from $1.77 in November, AAA reported.
Despite the decline, local prices are well above the national average of $1.50, the auto club reported.
Separately, First Security Bank said the cost of living increased in Las Vegas in November for the seventh consecutive month.
The bank, which tracks local prices, said they increased 0.5 percent overall because of increases in costs for recreation, restaurant meals, clothing, groceries, health care, transportation and housing.
