Girls tournament at Centennial

Centennial High Schools Lady Bulldog Holiday Classic tips off today, with 20 girls basketball teams, including 12 area schools, participating in the event. Headlining the field will be No. 5 Bonanza, the seventh-ranked hosts, Northern Region representatives Douglas and Elko and several California schools.

The four-day event concludes with Thursdays championship contest, slated to begin at 3 p.m. All games will be played in Centennials main and auxiliary gyms.
