Letter: Why is Buckley majority leader?
Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000 | 9:48 a.m.
Before the ink can dry on the governor's senior citizen drug plan, Assemblywoman Barbara Buckley says that it could be that the "program design is so flawed that people are choosing not to take advantage of it."
Citizens will recall that she opposed Gov. Kenny Guinn's selection of Laurie England to help us deal with the HMOs, a very successful health program.
If she whines before something good is implemented, and is consistently wrong, how could this whiner be picked as the majority leader of the Nevada Assembly?
