Schutte makes move in Nevada Open

Former UNLV All-American Warren Schutte charged into contention at the $60,000 Nevada Open by firing a 65 Thursday to close within four shots of the lead heading into today's final round at Mesquite's Casa Blanca Golf Club. Chris Kamin, who posted a 64, had the lead at 13-under-par 130.
First-round leader Dean Kennedy, who fired a 63 on Wednesday, slipped to 72 on Thursday and was five shots back in fourth place.
