Robert Edward Boyle

Robert Edward Boyle, 63, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 5, 1937, in Ohio. A resident for 30 years, he was a bartender and a member of the Culinary Union.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Herbert L. Clifton

Herbert L. Clifton, 65, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Jan. 22, 1935, in New York. A resident for 13 years, he was a bishop and founder of the City of Angels Mission Church and U.S. Chaplains Corps.

He is survived by one son, Alex Clifton of Huntsville, Texas; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Betty J. Desroche

Betty J. Desroche, 65, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. A resident for 10 years, she was born Feb. 7, 1935, in Clovis, N.M.

She is survived by her husband, George J.; one son, Keith T. Desroche of California; one brother, Bill Keith of Arizona; one sister, Kenee Cooper of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Carol Joan Emery

Carol Joan Emery, 63, of Las Vegas died Dec. 1 in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 7, 1937, in Cincinnati. A resident for 35 years, she was a director of personnel for the Clark County Health District.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; four stepdaughters, Cindy Brooke of Port Orchard, Wash., Debra Burrus of Granite Falls, Wash., Suzanne Conant of Everett, Wash., and Linda Hall of Fairfield, Calif.; and two stepsons, Shane Watson of Everett and Clayton Watson of Arlington, Wash.

Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.

Francis S. Franke

Francis S. Franke, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 24, 1918, in Bridgewater, S.D. A resident for 18 years, he was in construction and engineering, a World War II Army veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars 10047.

He is survived by one daughter, Judith Ann Cellars of Oregon; two sons, Frederic Franke of Washington state and Jack Franke of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling private arrangements.

Leona James

Leona James, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born June 28, 1925, in New Orleans. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel Sr.; one son, Samuel James Jr.; one daughter, Kimberley Broussard; one sister, Barbara Floyd of Las Vegas; one brother, Henry Muse of Louisiana; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be noon Saturday in Harrison-Ross Mortuary, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Los Angeles.

Christina Devine Bowman Littlefield

Christina Devine Bowman Littlefield, 39, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 13, 1961, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph; three sons, Andrew Bowman, Levi Bowman and Joey Littlefield, and one daughter, Brandy Bowman, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Paul Devine, and two sisters, Beth Devine and Mary Morehouse, both of Reno; and two grandchildren.

Services will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Delores Pauy

Delores Pauy, 66, of North Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 18, 1934, in Indiana. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her companion, Wayne Babcock of North Las Vegas.

Graveside services will be 8:30 a.m. Monday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Tammy Y. Pruitt

Tammy Y. Pruitt, 37, of Las Vegas died Nov. 29 in Las Vegas. She was born March 12, 1963, in Texas. A resident for many years, she was a saleswoman at Sears Roebuck.

She is survived by two sons, Romare Barrnet and Lamartease Pruitt, and two daughters, Ashely Barrnet and Destiny Barrnet, all of California; her father, Hubert Ray Pruitt of Wichita, Kan.; her mother, Willie Oneda Berry of Long Beach, Calif.; three sisters, Alisa Berry of Long Beach, Calif., Shuree Pruitt and Kristina Pruitt, both of Wichita; and three brothers, Kenneth Pruitt of West Hills, Calif., Rosuli Hall of Albuquerque, N.M., and Antione Pruitt of Wichita.

Visitation was scheduled until 3 p.m. services today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Betty Mae Robertson

Betty Mae Robertson, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 23, 1928, in Chicago. A resident for 50 years, she was a retired hotel waitress.

She is survived by three sons, James Robertson, Danny Robertson and Michael Robertson, two daughters, Barbara Bowman and Diane Epstein, and two sisters, Maxine McNeely and Joan Paul, all of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until a 5 p.m. vigil Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Charles Mike Stubbens

Charles Mike Stubbens, 66, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born April 7, 1934, in San Diego. A resident since the 1950s, he was a retired county government electrical inspector and a member of Masonic Lodge 46.

He is survived by his wife, Lois B.; two sons, Joel D. Darley of Santa Fe, N.M., and L.P. "Buddy" Darley of Las Vegas; one daughter, Teresa A. Kleven of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

Hilma L. Suitor

Hilma L. Suitor, 86, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 5, 1914, in Mangum, Okla. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by one son, Michael Suitor of Las Vegas; four sisters, Loretta Campbell of Ardmore, Okla., Heloise Leche and Helen Young, both of Ponca City, Okla., and Mozelle Baldwin of Long Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Julian Sullivan

Julian Sullivan, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 18, 1921, in Ireland. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Eileen Hennessy of Kilkenny, Ireland, and Mary Sienko of Rockford, Mich.; two sons, James Sullivan of Manchester, England, and Leslie Sullivan of Grand Rapids, Mich.; three brothers, Dennis McKenna of Danielson, Conn., John Keating of Bronxville, N.Y., and Sheamus Keating of Manchester; and two sisters, Pat Harrison of Carlow, Ireland, and Margaret Cheevers of Bronxville.

A prayer service was scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.

James L. Turner

James L. Turner, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 8, 1927, in Oregon. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired taxicab driver and a World War II and Korean War veteran of the Merchant Marines.

He is survived by four sons, Michael Turner, Shane Turner, Scott Turner and Tyler Turner; one sister, Helen Brewer; and seven grandchildren.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Ralph L. Vassallo

Ralph L. Vassallo, 84, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born June 22, 1916, in New York City. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired architectural draftsman and a member of the Italian American Club.

He is survived by one daughter, Rosemarie of New York; two sons, Vincent Vassallo of Pahrump and Ralph Vassallo Jr. of New York; two sisters; one brother; and eight grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the Italian American Scholarship Fund.

Dennis A. Vitelli

Dennis A. Vitelli, 57, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born June 27, 1943, in Chicago Heights, Ill. A resident for seven years, he was a casino bartender, a former automobile salesman and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Maureen; three daughters, Denise Maness of San Diego, Christine Barandela of Hebron, Ind., and Denise Lopez of Bensenville, Ill.; three sons, Robert Vitelli of Steger, Ill., Brian Vitelli of Hebron and Jay Sales of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Sharon Bacon of West Frankfort, Ill.; and 12 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Saturday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Illinois.

Charles Russell Williams

Charles Russell Williams, 72, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 7, 1928, in Philadelphia. A resident for 36 years, he was a retired Air Force technical sergeant and a World War II and Korean War veteran.

He was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Williams and two brothers, David Williams and Emmanuel Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Edna; five daughters, Patricia Thomas, Cynthia Thomas and Joyce Hill, all of North Las Vegas, and Rita Henderson and Sheila Williams, both of Las Vegas; six sons, Charles Williams, Robert Williams, Michael Williams, Al Williams and Jerrol Williams, all of Las Vegas, and Russell Williams of North Las Vegas; one brother, Louis Williams of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ, 1117 F St. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
