StumbleCalifornia woman killed in automobile accident

Investigators said Orlando Sanchez, 25, of Maywood, Calif., was eastbound on the interstate about 18 miles east of Elko Monday when he allowed the van to drift toward the median. The vehicle struck a steel guardrail, continued through the median and collided with a dirt embankment.
Jessica Winter, a passenger in the van, was pronounced dead at the scene. Sanchez suffered serious injuries and was flown to the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
