Letter: Count every vote in fair manner
Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000 | 10:01 a.m.
All voters -- Democrats, Republicans and independents -- should share a commitment to the most essential ideal in American democracy: Every vote counts.
It's time to put aside modern-day politics, go back to our roots and take the responsible steps necessary to ensure that our next president is in fact the individual America elected.
This election is not over until every vote is counted in a fair and deliberate way.
