Letter: Samaritans are among us
Monday, Dec. 4, 2000 | 9:32 a.m.
We live on Bryant Avenue and our cat strayed over the fence onto Burton Avenue and became disoriented, so my daughter distributed fliers up and down both streets.
We were amazed by the number of residents who phoned saying they had seen our one-eyed, orange pet but were unable to corner it. Thankfully, it was returned by someone during the early hours of last Monday.
The city of Las Vegas is often disparagingly called "Sin City," and if those good Samaritans are sinners, we are proud to live among them.
