Curtis to receive lifetime achievement award

Curtis is the first recipient of the Marquee Award. He will be honored Saturday evening during the closing program for the film festival at the Paris Las Vegas hotel-casino.
Curtis has appeared on movie screens for more than 50 years. His credits include "The Sweet Smell of Success," "The Defiant Ones," which earned him a best actor Oscar nomination, "Goodbye Charlie" and "The Boston Strangler."
